So i need some info! Have any of you ever used these papers? Did you like them? Would you buy them again? They are the copic marker sketchbook The info on the sale page reads : Thick, all-purpose paper is great for mixed media work. Paper is bleed-resistant and thick enough to handle watercolor. " and the other is the Copic Too PM Pad A2 which reads: Specially made for markers and pastels, this paper has a light tooth and makes a great rough sketch or layout paper.
How did the copic too take the color pencil? can you get more than 1 ot 2 layers without it getting waxy? How about the Sketch book? Can it really take watercolor washes and not suck all the ink out of your markers? Thanks so much for any advice you could give.

I have found that 80lb paper works pretty well for markers. I also have a 136 lb paper that sucks up EVERYTHING and is kind of difficult to work with for my markers. It's made for acrylic and water color but I was testing it for my copics and it made me kinda cry a bit inside. lol
Anyway, I haven't used this specifically but I buy paper based on its weight and 80 lb will bleed sometimes so I'm thinking anything between 80 - 100 will work well for the markers. I hope that will be helpful for you.

Hahnemühle has a marker paper ("Sketch Pad", has a stylized fashion designer's sketch on the light purple cover), which is slightly cheaper than copic paper, and has 25 sheets more. I use it for markers, which don't bleed into the next sheet. I haven't used colour pencils heavily on it before, but slight shading is no problem. it takes up oil pastel, too.
I hope that helps, I have not worked with the above papers before.

I hated BOTH. When I do small marker sketches (around 9x12") I use Borden & Riley Paris Bleedproof paper (notice: a paper that says bleedproof doesn't mean it won't eventually soak through -- by bleedproof it means the media won't feather out into the paper pulp, causing fuzz and blur). For larger pieces I use the same at 14x17" or EON art boards (11x17").
