I agree with you there. But at the time when I made this. All the canine, horses, etc, in my answer, all of them where just the same and everything. Pretty much all drawn the same, almost all poof tfs *at the end of the tf* and just done over and over and over and over. You know what I mean?
Ah yes, such a good book series, Animorphs. Yeah, it was a noted point that, other than for Cassie with her talents, the transition of morphing was a completely random affair, which you don't see all that often really. Also helped make the morphing sequences keep their appeal as each time the description was different.
Yeah I loved how they did the tfs in the book different every single time. Made them soo much fun trying to figure out what would happen in the next tf.
As for Cassie. I think since she understood animals and stuff. And she new how the body would have to change to that of a creature. I bet if she wanted to, she would change only one part of her body without tfing all the way. Then to the point where she could actually turn into a anthro XD

I don't think she could take it quite that far, but I believe she explained in one of the book that, rather than simply picture the animal in mind (or herself on the return trip), she could envision the transformation itself to have an impact on what changed when, like I recall one time when they returned from bird to human she purposefully changed her wings last so that she was completely human except for her arms which were still wings, and once they were the last part they then changed.
