K-TV is Kitteh Television!
Norma Bates Kitteh jumped up on the desk, so I decided to put an "Entertain Your Cat" video on the lefthand monitor.
Seems to work! She's fascinated by the blackbirds!

For the longest time I assumed cats had similar vision to dogs and couldn't "see" the picture.
My opinion of this changed when my cat attempted to catch the bird inside the screen. The faceplant was almost funny. Instead it was rather horrifying, horrifying in the aspect of breaking a rather expensive 3D TV and having the family cat splattered beneath it. I like my cat not being dead.
If you do get a 3D TV, keep an eye on the cat.

Pretty much what mine did after smacking into the tv, except mine was more upset then confused. Kept meowing at me like I was supposed to do something about it. Has to do with the refresh rate methinks, the higher the harder it is for them to distinguish it from the real thing and flip the prey instinct. Monitors and normal hdtvs have lower refresh rates than 3D TVs so your cat probably won't have to wear headgear
