Tho this one is the Fairmont Ghia, the luxury variant of the Falcon range.
Tho not different from the other models in the BA range, the only differences on the exterior being the foglights and the reverse lamps on the centers around the number plate (sorta like the EB/ED Falcons from the 90s)

As a Ford tech, while I'm likely biased, the ones that break down tend to see more abuse and less maintenance than the average car is designed for. Quite a few people tend to just neglect important things or not know any better until someone tells them, and even then they'll put off scheduled maintenance until something breaks.
