When I was little, I had a phase of drawing fairies (in addition to a dragon phase, a monster phase, an alien phase, etc.)...and there had been one old drawing of a bird fairy playing a flute. This isn't an exact match, of course. Some features are much different. Still, it was fun to do. And it also gave me an excuse to practice drawing and painting bird wings, and using some very bright colors. I really didn't bother with the background much, because I was focusing more on the details of the character. I considered adding more, but then I just left it as it is, for now.

He hasn't been named yet, so if anyone has any suggestions for a name, feel free to shout out in a comment.
