Most of my happy places consist of being out somewhere with Lion... but in times like this, when I feel I'm not allowed to have that.. my happy place is alone, on the beach, laid out in the warm sun on a towel, comfortable and relaxed. The sun helps keep my depression away, the sand keeps my back from being chilly when a cool breeze from the lake rolls in, and the sound of the water calms me.
It's a truly happy place, even if I AM alone.
