I'm a big Farmall / International fan. Long story. But very important family connection with those tractors & our farm. We've still got a similar tractor. Ours is an "M". Not sure what model that one is. Looks like an M.

My dad used to have a tractor like the one you're on, only difference was our was a bucket loader. Have a lot of good memories being young and riding in the bucket.

Oh gosh Holly! You're riding on a piece of Agricultural History there. The Farmall Tractor because of it's dependablity and ease of maintenance made it a valuable asset to the modern farm, and was once credited for helping farmers boost food production at home during WW II.

I love history and historical stuff! They were driving this thing around at the con too :)

Oh how cool! It still runs. I'll bet your little group had a great time dealing with all that wonderful machinery.

I remember my Uncle John had a similar "Farmall" tractor when I visited his farm in 1965, but it wasn't running at the time. Uncle John showed me that he was building parts for his farm machines in his metal shop, and I was amazed with the fact that he'd fill all three of his tractor's tires with water. It helped add a lot more weight and a bit more traction when the fields were a bit muddy.

For those that wonder about it, It's a 1941 M I took it and a 1947 Farmall Cub. Holly look good sitting on seat of the old M.
