Oh gosh Holly! You're riding on a piece of Agricultural History there. The Farmall Tractor because of it's dependablity and ease of maintenance made it a valuable asset to the modern farm, and was once credited for helping farmers boost food production at home during WW II.
Oh how cool! It still runs. I'll bet your little group had a great time dealing with all that wonderful machinery.
I remember my Uncle John had a similar "Farmall" tractor when I visited his farm in 1965, but it wasn't running at the time. Uncle John showed me that he was building parts for his farm machines in his metal shop, and I was amazed with the fact that he'd fill all three of his tractor's tires with water. It helped add a lot more weight and a bit more traction when the fields were a bit muddy.
