I was always a dog person. Since i was a little kid my parents taught me how wonderful is to take care of another living being as a dog and thats something im very grateful because they always made me feel great everytime i arrived home after finishing all those school duties.
Ive had lots of dogs the whole life but these two guys where the most memorable and dearest for me: Ringo and Bono. Both dogs where boxer breed, bono on the left and ringo on the right. Theres something about these guys i always remember a lot: Loyalty.
Bono was always close, protective on the house and from time to time his temperament was very edgy around other dogs but warm and nice around the family. As imposing he might look he was always afraid of thunderstorms to the point of staying close to me while trembling. Always grumpy around Ringo since both wanted to play fetch and competing for the ball.
Ringo was like a little clueless kid: always playing around, with his happy face, fetching balls all the day which he always liked to do the most. Such a noble guy around strangers inside the house but protective from those who came closer without our consentiment. The worst problem i had with this little guy was while taking him for a walk, always wanted to fight against any other dogs, barking towards them and so. Yeah, i was a bad parent at some point.
However, this one was special, very damn special to the point if you look on a dictionary the definition of loyal, his picture panting and being happy will be around there.
Unfortunately, Bono passed away a couple of years ago and Ringo just a month ago. Its been really difficult to get used to their absence since this is the first time my house lacks of any dog presence.
Maybe im being weird, dramatic or exaggerating on this but wanted to remmeber then with a small piece dedicated to my wonderful companions. Im grateful for their company and shall never be forgoten.
