Soldier
Soldiers are well trained and heavily armed space marines with an array of weapons they carry in plain sight to deter attacks and to use if necessary. Most Soldiers have some military background or experience in battle. They are tough and rugged individuals, and when other crew members are running from a threat, they are headed straight for it with their weapon aimed. Soldiers work best in a team of militants, though individual soldiers are no less formidable. Soldiers spend much of their time exercising, cleaning and preparing their weapons and gear and waiting for the next fight. Those that are not in regular action are tinderboxes for trouble, and it is common for a simple quarrel to turn into an all out brawl. Because of this, Soldiers are often placed on constant patrols and guard duty. They are rarely found aboard freighters and civilian craft, though mercenaries are regularly hired by ships headed into dangerous sectors.
