Of course it was! Quite possibly the most fun I had at a con yet! You should totally go next year if you can.

I actually heard a lot of bad things this year. That someone was even attested for bringing a shot gun into the camp.
I've heard from at least two people who say they won't be returning next year.

Really? Do you know why it was bad this year? (Besides the person getting arrested)

I was hearing everything was a little unorganized this year, the one I was talking to who has gone the past few years, said it just kinda sinks every year. Unorganized of events, they were having some sort of problem with the food servings?

I mean, I can't speak for everyone, and I guess it's who you talk to. I've never gone since I've never had a good camping experience, and not a fan of small cons.

Ah I see, yeah I know that feeling. I've stopped going to cons before just because of how unorganized they are.
One anime con I went to was so unorganized the staff put a piece a paper next to the convention room map that said "We have no idea where anything is :("

So yeah I can understand the frustration. I just wanted to know if this con was any good but I'll have to give it second thoughts now

This con experience varies from person to person. I personally had a great time while I was there, quite possibly due to the fact that I freakin' love camping. The person that got arrested with a loaded shotgun was a local in town that had nothing better to do than try to mess with us and the neighboring camp. The security and park ranger handled the situation with great precaution and did not cause any panic. I personally never had any problems with the food servings there, in fact the food was one of my highlights from the con. I felt the events were organized, they even give you a pocket schedule with everything that's going on. But, like I said, it varies from person to person. I would take the person above you like a grain of salt if I were you.

Yes someone was arrested for harassment with the threat of a lethal weapon on state property. That person had nothing to do with the convention but was a student at a local collage that was arrested by the state police after a short car chase. Do to the seriousness of the felony it will be years before he will be out on parole.

As for being disorganized that is by opinion. When you have a camping convention that is meant to be quite lied back yes some can call it quite disorganized compared to a very organized convention that is held at a high end hotel and convention center.

Well I was taking proper care of my slobber machine by watching him as one should when one takes the responsibility of a slobber machine.

Now one should take care of you by taking you to the vet for the big snip snip.
