Thank you *wags* with the monopod I was able to hold the camera steady so I could get the picture nice and sharp. All these days of photography and I think I've found my groove again *wags more*

yeah i need to get a tripod for my camera! my pictures always end up blurred and what not.

Try a monopod too .. they are much faster to set up and provide a reasonably steady base.. I find tripods are good if your staying in one place to take loads of pictures (rally events / airshows etc.) monopods are handy if you're walking around someplace and you don't have to keep folding the legs and adjusting everything.

I bought a monopod with three snaps which can be unlocked to release it and its a good 6ft tall when fully released :)
