The secret to drawing fats is lots and lots of circles
seriously if you sketch with a ton of circles its easier to draw fats. take a stickman style arrangement and just put circles, using circles for every major mass (like shoulder, upper arm, chest, etc) and go from there. Its fantastic for when you want to pose a fatto.
