I actually have a really, really tough time with hands, it's just a fluke it came out so nicely this time! Usually I have my "regular" skill, then sometimes you randomly do it better.

Oh yeah I know that feel. There was only one time I was ever proud of my hands/feet and that's in a sketch. If I tried to ink it, it'd be terrible lol

I must say that I rather enjoy the body language here. It's really clear that the one buddy is trying his best to cheer up the other. Also, the hands in the piece are amazing.

Well, I was thinking that Max and Idan met in some reality bending void. Idan sees an upset Max and comforts him that the times ahead will change.

But I'm probably just looking too deep into this. X3

Technically speaking, Idan is set in current times and Max is set during WW2. :)

My goal is to make characters based on the more unusual (as furries anyway) or lesser known species of mustelid...so in addition to Idan, I have Max (a stone marten), Kim (a marbled polecat), and Jarreth (a European polecat).
