This may arguably be among the most valuable stones in my collection, and after spending the past hour trying to photograph it, it has also come to my attention it is one of the most difficult stones to snap a solid pic of it. Its so bright, so clear, so refined, the reflections cast too much light back and the contrast to the rest of the stone becomes far too dark. This stone is just short of world class as well, as its size is staggering for a Tanz, the clarity is phenomenal. Only the very back culet running down the stone was aligned improperly, thus not letting light catch consistently from every angle as you stare from outside the stone. Another interested thing I noticed staring into this stone even longer, one half of the stone is slightly more violet than the other. Technically, this ~is~ a Bi-Color Tanzanite. o.o;
