I grew up in San Diego and have fond memories of the beach, the pier, and the tidepools nearby. I don't remember how I did these photos, actually. They're from over five years ago! I've been to both tide pool areas. I've also kayaked around the sea caves to the south as well. Such a wonderful area. I'll be moving back to the area in June and I just can't wait! Have you been to Point Loma/Ocean Beach? Lots of wonderful pier/beach/cliff/tidepool areas there as well.
Congratulations on the future return! I haven't been to Ocean Beach and only made it out to Point Loma once, kind of out of my territory. I tend to stay within walking distance of UCSD. Are there any beaches off in Pt. Loma or Ocean Beach that can only be accessed by a cave?
