Pilot
Pilots are competitive thrill seekers, boisterous and proud, confident and cocky, and with good reason. Piloting a heavy star ship through a dense asteroid field with enemy ships in pursuit, or maneuvering tactically through a spiraling space battle, dodging tumbling, burning wrecks and streaking anti-ship torpedoes while keeping the hull steady enough for gunners to take aim and return fire, is no mundane task. With raw natural talent, and intense physical and mental training, pilots live for the chance to push the limits of their skills, envision the unthinkable, attempt the extreme and steer straight for the fray. The rest of the time however... Pilots are bored out of their mind, burning through the mundane tasks of day to day ship operations and trying to burn off excess energy. Whether its taking the edge off at a station pub, flirting with the lady techs down at dockside, or exercising until they pass out, Pilots that are not in regular action are constantly struggling for a fix.
