Had this idea in the back of my head to come up with new official designs for all the Legends of Aeluria that have been created so far. Some of the characters exist only on paper or in my mind, and are in desperate need of a physical form.
Cheetahs are quite a common sight all over the region of Feloria, and their specialty in speed and agility has resulted in many of the coastal city-states forming corps of strictly cheetah warriors as light and fast assault troops. His shoulder plate is something that is common to the city-state of Verganza. Not having access to metal works, the denizens of the city make their own leather armor out of the hides of the gigantic lizards (AKA dinosaurs) that dwell in the desert grasslands to the north.
Name: Nathaniel En-hakorre
Affiliation: Felorian Alliance, City of Felidor, Seven Sons of Verganza
Nickname: runner, lark tongue, jaybird
Affiliation: Felorian Alliance, City of Verganza, City of Felidor, Seven Sons of Verganza
Known living relatives: none
Even before he had been abducted by the Orionites , Nathaniel had always been a troublemaker. As a child he was a prankster, as well as an instigator. During his capture by the Orionites his fast mouth was always getting the best of him, but his quick reflexes saved him many times from a death dealing blow.
With his oath brothers, he still acts the part of a fun loving fool, but it is just a facade most of the time to conceal his true emotions.
Nathaniel is the swiftest of the team, so mostly he takes the part of a scout, running ahead of the group to make sure the way is clear of danger.
Ofttimes he is paired with the archer of the team, Malachi, much to the quiet warrior's dislike most of the time, but he welcomes the cheetah's superior swordsman skills in the time of battle.
Nathaniel was originally called Elnathan, but since Nathaniel seemed more normal compared to the other name (they both mean the same thing, God's Gift/Gift of God), I went with it instead.
His surname En-Hakorre comes from the story of Samson. It is the name of a spring of water that God brought forth in answer to Samson's prayer to quench his great thirst after his 'donkey jawbone' battle with the Philistines (Judges 15:14-19).
