Jane, my gryphon character who has a semi-identical brother, has Jake as his hubby.

Snuggling works out just fine, they just lay on their side and Jake wraps his front legs around her. The only awkward part is that as they snuggle, they sometimes move around a bit, so he then needs to scoot his hindquarters with his hind legs. Not the easiest thing to do when trying to not disturbs the sleeping gryphon in your arms.
