Annoying thing was that Krystal probably was going to be her own character in her own game, but then Nintendo told rare to make it a Star Fox one.
Now to see if the Star Fox reboot will feature her. Probably will since you don't want to take out the lead female in your games and have a solely male cast these days. But I can't rule out the possibility of Kat taking that position instead if the want to attract that Star Fox 64 crowd.

It might not be rebooted... But considering how long it's been since Starfox Command and how... confusing that games story is (Along with the Multiple endings situation) I would not be too surprised it gets rebooted. Just have to wait and see come this E3 when it's revealed.
I kinda hope it's not rebooted. Command is the only game in the whole series that seems to get hate on all sides and most just seem to agree that the game just might not be canon. I kinda hope that the next game happens after Assault as if Command never happened. That's just me though, we'll see I guess.
