When I saw that huge (to her) knife, only one thing came to mind- "You'll put your eye out!"
But then I went and read the rest of the story, and felt a little bad for poking fun at such a scary, serious, and pivotal moment in her story.
Also, glad I'm out of reach of that sword for fear of her reaction to my first response! XD

Be glad for your normality. Think of the trouble that would have been brought on by not freezing up. We don't think about this kind of thing when in these situations. Kinda makes me wonder if that's why our bodies do that. If impulse drove us fully, how fucked would we be?
