An unspecified time ago, I submitted a fan story for one of Nightfaux's contests (linked above), where it was reviewed by several judges, and later chosen as one of the top winners. As such, Night drew this as my prize.
Requested by me, this features a scene right from the story. in which Claude and Ellie are "looking" at each other; chiefly, that Claude is gazing into Ellie's silvery, cloudy eyes while he imagines her gazing back into his blue orbs, knowing that she's blind. It fascinates both of us how, even with her blindness, her actions and such sometimes lead others to imagine she's not. Or at least, that's what the shy skunkie thinks. ^_^;
