Well, this comic was made after watching the "how to train your dragon-2" trailer, i was not happy with whole the idea of "secret button" and Hiccup's mom as a character.

I like Hiccups mom's character, but in retrospect, the whole 'seceret button' stuff is pretty ...dumb for lack of a better word. Mainly because I think to myself "How come Toothless didn't know this about himself? What dumb writing." Honestly, I still won't accept that Toothless can't fly on his own without that one tailfin, but a fat Gronckle can fly with two tiny fly wings, so it's easy for me to overlook these issues once I've seen them. XD
Anywho, neat comic ^^ gave me a good chuckle, and I like the way you draw Toothless! :D

This was a spur of the moment reaction on trailers, before we could see the movie. What i did not like about her, is that she came from nowhere and took control over Toothless with just a hand gesture. I know they wanted to show us how good Valka is, but they've ruined the most magical and touchy scene from 1st movie, "the forbidden friendship". Earning a nightfury's trust was an exception and a small miracle, and now some woman is doing the same with just a flick of the finger. :/
And yet... if you know about Accupressure treatment in reality, you'll know that there's more to the human body than half the world knows about. That's all it was.
I like using my guitar playing as a sort of... analogy. It's the difference learning how to play REALLY REALLY fast OR learning how to play well and about all the other little quirks around playing and finding easier ways of playing quick without actually sitting there for hours doing one thing over and over.
Plus, in the sequel here, Hiccup's mom has been doing this, assuming a lot here, for as long as she'd been gone/taken away. Soooo comparing what? Five years experience with one dragon VS twenty years experience with pretty much every dragon? Just sayin'. :P
