"Houndoom": *Nods* I'm supposed to be undercover... truth is, I'm from a warrior race from the stars known as the Extroy. And Extroy need to do two things and two alone; Survive and expand. Oh, they can do other things, certainly, but only if they help with those two things, or at the very least do not hinder them, and cuddling as you called it is neither of those two things, and while it would not necessarily hinder it in an obvious way, affection could make missions more difficult because you have more to lose, and rather literal star-crossed lovers would weigh even more heavily on one's psyche due to our nature. *Sighs* I'm not claiming it's right, but it's the way things are. It's the way they always have been, and it's the way they likely always will be, at least until a time comes when our expansion has finally come to an end, which is unlikely to happen in the near future. *Rubs his tummy idly* That's why it's not that simple. Not because I'm afraid of hurting people. Because I'm afraid of there being a time when I will be.

"Houndoom": *Sighs* Not really, but if you didn't get it after what I said I'm not really sure how to better describe it, so it's close enough, I guess... but that's why cuddling wasn't exactly highest priority in my training... and that's why it's not as simple as you made it seem to get it... growing attached enough to outsiders to do so is hazardous to the mission, and it's not exactly high on the resume of the other Extroy, so it's a convenience that we neither really have nor feel we really need...

Me: I see...geez...this "Extroy" you speak of...might It be possible to live in peace and harmony? What has been your mission here?

"Houndoom": To, for lack of a better term, "Terraform" various planets - including but not limited to this one - that we encounter and fully induct it into our species in such a way that we may use any resources we can and remove any resources that are a threat, in hopes of using them to grow stronger and use that to induct another planet into it, then use the resources of both those planets to do the same to a third and so on until we have expanded as far as there is to go.

Me: ah I see. So you never intend to harm anyone? Is that it? Just remove threats and induct resources tht might be helpful? Did I understand THat correctly?

"Houndoom": Essentially. To be honest, most of us are rather indifferent to the individuals on the planets we terraform. Most of the time we just stay out of their way until it's too late to stop it unless one or more of the locals provoke us.

Me: oh? So if someone were interfere it try to stop from terraforming, then you would....

"Houndoom": We would probably deem it a threat and neutralize it ahead of time, preferably by consumption so that we can store and later extract the life energy. Life energy is a very powerful resource if one knows how to harness it, even more so than electricity to you people, making it invaluable if one can find a way to get it, which is why I showed disappointment when I believed I would not be able to keep yours.

Me: ah. I see. So what if...hypothetically, something were t bump into you but knew nothing about your true original. Like say an Eevee or Electrike or vulpix that was running away from a predatory creature....what would you do then?

"Houndoom": Them I would likely tell to watch where they're going, but otherwise leave alone. Them bumping into me and them actively attempting to stop or out me are two different things, and unless you're a water balloon someone bumping into you is not a serious threat.

Me: ahh. I see. So what would you do if a predator chasing them umm...ran into or something or the prey hid behind you...uhh... *giggles at the word, "water balloon"*

"Houndoom": I'd probably protect myself, and by extension the prey in question, though I would not hesitate to make a tactical retreat if neither predator nor prey were threatening the mission and if I found myself in a situation where I had to. My death will not exactly help complete the mission, after all.

Me: I see. So would you still try to protect the prey in question? Like run off with them? Cuz cuteness has been found as a weakness around here...

"Houndoom": *Raises a nonexistent eyebrow* What is it with you and listing off hypothetical scenarios right now?

Me: I'm sorry. Me: it's really nice. ^^ so...been meaning to ask this but...when you say, "Life Energy", and say to absorb it, what do you mean? Do you mean that you umm...

Houndoom: Hm? (Looks down at his tummy)

Houndoom: Do I mean that I what?

Me: I dunno...when you say "absorb life energy"...

Houndoom: It means exactly what I said it means. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Me: uhh...so what do you mean by "Life Energy"?

Houndoom: Well, aside from a powerful resource if it can be tapped into, it is the ethereal energy that powers the actions of life, or at least sentient life.

Me: I see. And absorbing it...how is this done exactly?

Houndoom: Usually by extracting and compressing it until it's in a usable state, then going from there. For us Extroy, the easiest way to do this is through the act of consumption, as then we can compress and store the life energy with the rest to either be extracted surgically or absorbed for oneself.

Me: I see. So what happens to the body?

(I might like some more detailed info on this. Hehe. Seems interesting)

Houndoom: The same thing that usually happens to food. It gets melted down into fat and fuel for the consumer.

Me: ah. I see. So digested huh...well...does that happen as well as the energy being absorbed at the same time?

Houndoom: Pretty much, though the life energy is almost entirely stored unless intentionally absorbed for more power.

Me: ah. So how long does it take for digestion to occur then? You able to hold the acids?

Houndoom: I am. As for how long it takes, usually about a half an hour for someone my size if I use them at full blast.

Me: nice! ^^ hehe! So how long you able to hold back digestion? My friends can do it for a long as they need mostly.

Houndoor: Usually for the better part of a day if I want to, though after about 24 hours I start to get really tired from doing it, and I can't really hold it back while I'm asleep.

Me: I see. Does digestion speed up when you're asleep?

Houndoom: No, it usually just stays at about normal level. High for a Houndoom, but not by much.

Me: ah. I see. So...would you ever protect someone in your belly if needed or asked or something?

Houndoom: Not a good idea. I can hold my acids back, but being able to delay the inevitable doesn't change the fact that if someone comes in, they're not getting back out any time soon.

Me: I see. So they would be digested no matter what? You would never spit anything back up?

Houndoom: Couldn't if I wanted to. My body pushes everything down. It would just take too much energy to push it back.

Me: I see. There anything that comes out your ass?

Houndoom: Just anything we can't digest.

Me: what CAN'T you digest then? Clothes, metal, that kind of stuff?

Houndoom: Pretty much.

Me: I see. And it maintains it's shape and form? So would I become fart as well as fat and all of that?

Houndoom: Um. Yeah, it maintains its shape and form. Might get roughed up a bit, but the shape will not change that much.

Me: ah. So about becoming ass fat or something? Becoming fart and all tht awesome stuff.

Houndoom: The former's what'll happen to what I can digest, along with some of it becoming nutrients. I don't know about flatulence specifically though. That might happen to the air left behind after though.

Me: I see. So how eager have you been to digest me? Not very? *hug the walls*
