I am not sure what I was thinking when I made this other than two things. I hadn't done a dragon yet, not an anthro one, and I still wanted to practice with bright colors.

She started out as a squiggle in paint and the more I messed with her the more I liked the potential she held. I don't actually care too much for the wing... but I was starting to learn with this picture not just how to play with bright colors, but how to play with layers just a bit more. *Points to the fins on her head for reference to what she means by play.*

I liked the background too. I did this one by doing the background before I did the actual Dragoness. I'm not too happy with that though, they were suppose to be mountains and they just look like hills to me *Shrugs* I like the water though, and the slightly transparent look it has. ^_^

Her hair was tough though, I'm not really that good with hair that isn't done with a pencil in a realistic style, and too many lines make it look crappy so I tried hard to make the shadows and highlights work for me..

Of it all I dislike the flower in her hand most

But I like her expression the most. ^_^
