Did a padding for arm, it gets snugly on biceps , enough to keep in place without strangle it. Also, hoofs detachable to change cover color (hold bt velcro)
trying to figure now how build the hand without lose mobility.

To get the best dexterity, you'd want to keep the fingertips as unpadded as possible. The only thing covering them should be the fur/other fabric you're using for the gloves (and maybe a liner). They're still not easy to deal with, as I have a pair of large padded hands with huge claws, but I can still manage to pick things most things up. (Just not coins)
I'm still figuring how to do the hand, was planning a 'round base' to attach on arm and make it looks like a 'ball joint' (like roll on deodorants). For the hand a light shell to keep the shape but not reducing the mobility. Last time I did a padded hands, it got hard to wear and very bad to move the fingers (almost no movement, beside using extremely soft foam)
Yeah, the ones I have hurt two of my fingers after extended wear. (They make my tiny pinky fingers spread out farther than they're use to). But, well, to be fair what I have isn't as bulked out in the arm area, it's the hands that are padded. But because I slip the sleeve farther over the padded hands, so they come up just under the palm, it makes the illusion that my arms get thicker nearer the hands.
I think maybe of the "shell" was cut back a little farther, and another shell was added to the back of the hands, with the actual sleeve on the arm coming down a few inches over the shell on the hand, that it'd work fairly well. I wouldn't really say it needs a "ball joint", but if the padding on the hand fit inside of the padding on the arm with some extra space, that would likely help a lot with wrist movement.
If you worry about the sleeve riding up, attaching the glove to the sleeve is an option, perhaps even with snap buttons or velcro?
Just throwin' around ideas :3
