In lieu of moving back into my old farmhouse and getting a job and setting up for fursuit commissions and alllllllll that nonsense
I adopted a couple of feral (barn) cats from a rescue group. I was supposed to get four, but two of them escaped inside of their foster home before the volunteers headed out to deliver the cats (whoops). They people drove 2 hours to bring them to me!! and they were going to drive even FURTHER to deliver MORE!
These are the only pictures I have right now. I didn't want to intrude on their space too much, so I snapped a quick pic of each and left them alone with food and water. On the left is the sister, and on the right is the brother (he's not listed as "feral" on his paperwork, but he's very avoidant). They have gorgeous, GORRRRRGEEEOUUUUS golden eyes. Luckily, neither of them seem aggressive, and both are altered and have their rabies shots.
I'm gonna see if they stick around before I name them. Right now, they're contained in my unused storage shed so that they can get acclimated to this new place. (there's some stuff in there, from what you can see, but I don't actively go in there. I have a whole nother shed for my tools and things)
If they stay on my property after their 2-3 probationary weeks, I'll be uploading pictures of them here and there, when I spot 'em.
