One on the left suits Tye better. You really can't improved on perfection. I've said this too much with the LKHFF Founders and Maria...

You say that too much,,,period. Sorry, but perfection CAN be improved upon, because perfection is in the eye of the beholder. It's not a matter of fact, and some people actually do like the new over the old. Case and point, Peter Jackson's "King King," and 2001 version of "Oceans 11," and let us not forget James Cameron's "Titanic." Yes, that's a remake of a film from 1953 of the same name with elements of 1958's "A Night to Remember" thrown in.

I prefer the left, since he has the weapon belt.

He will still have the weapon belt on the revised version.

To me, the one on the right still looks too much like Tony.

Yes, with better comparison images. The main focus of Tye's design change is the color highlight on his chest.

hard to say, because I really like both versions a lot.
Okay, but I like the right version a bit more.

I would say....

Use the Outfit that the version on the left is wearing but pair it with the new fur coloration seen on the right side version.

The neckerchief is WAY too 50's IMHO.

Tye will have the same outfit in his revision as the old version.

Then yeah. Use the new Fur Color Pattern.

The thing I do like about the Old Fur pattern is the look of muscular definition that denotes the physical strength that Tye has. Try to keep that in the new fur pattern as well and you will have something wonderful! (IMHO)

I favor the contrasting chest, myself. More visually interesting, even without shadows.

Despite the "Tony" pose, I liked the new colors on Tye.

Honestly I think the first one looks better, because since his fur is this orange his fur stands out much better.
Well the second version looks much fluffier, maybe you should combine it?
Maybe the fluffiness of the new version plus the color pattern of the old version, I think that would look good.

Excellent refinement work on his design. It's cleaner and more-developed. You can really see the improvement over the original.

The new version looks more refined, like the old one was your 1st draft and the new one in the prettied up term paper

Musta missed this @_@ Definitely prefer the new. I'm partially biased cuz I'm a sucker for light-colored underbellies, but I like the refinements in the outfit (especially the leg wraps) too!

The new one looks much better with the chest-color highlight. it looks more natural.
