Drawn in a shitty sketchbook that I paid WAY too much for (seriously...the pages are like recycled toilet roll).

Used a pen that couldn't decide if it was dying a horrible death or had merely lost a limb. Some red ballpoint added later.

Lots of cross-hatching. I need to learn how to hatch better. Ugh.

personally I think your crosshatching is wonderful! It's awesome because I feel like you captured a wonderful sense of atmosphere even without a background. Very cool.
