Arlo and Enzo are back in this side piece I did for a contest. I took them straight to the steampunk genre with a slight techie twist. :D I've always had a soft spot for steampunk even though I was more of a cyberpunk fan. Anyway, time to pack some heat!

SteamPunk era technology, what was possessed by humankind during the 1800's, when automated human-shaped machines called Automatons overtook the continents of Europe and North America as the most complex of machines as this gear and cog driven machines rarely ever even using electricity performed simple tasks, such as singing, dancing, drawing, writing, carrying small objects back and forth between locations, and when air-travel was done with Ballooons and the concept of primitive firearms and explosives received a sudden boom forward towards greater bounds. The first car to go 130 mile per hour was Steam-powered in 1860 too! It carryied as much as 2 people weighing a combined total of 300 pounds and an additional cargo weight of 100 pounds in the storage trunk pairs.
Oddly, SteamPunk era technology is considered highly advanced technology in worlds where myth and magic reign supreme... and many Dungeons & Dragons campaigns accept such technology as existing. Sadly, a lot of people don't like mixing magic with technology, and many have long demanded the removal of such things from all a manner of game series for decades...
Boy I've focused on that way WAY too much. This picture looks awesome. It reminds me of the Final Fantasy games that had players given access to gunblades and chaingun limbs. Whenever your character did special attacks tied to those weapons they would pose real cool while firing the gun. Awesome here! Awesome there! Awesome everywhere!!!
