Haven�t posted any art here in a long time, but I like this piece and wanted to get as much loven for it as possible.
So this is fanart for The Last Unicorn and The Secret of Nimh, I really hated that butterfly character, so in my version, it is The Great Owl who tells the unicorn about the Red Bull so she can begin her quest. Heh, artistic license.

Oh you should. It's short and beautifully written- about 150 pages. He tends to walk off into short symbolic tangents about "the man" but that's OK, I still love it.
It's up there as one of my favorite books with Howl's Moving Castle- which is absolutley gloriously written, I couldn't put it down to save my life.
