Had this idea in the back of my head to come up with new official designs for all the Legends of Aeluria that have been created so far. Some of the characters exist only on paper or in my mind, and are in desperate need of a physical form.

Name: Reuben Adam Anakim

Affiliation: Felorian Alliance, Kingship of Felidor, Sons of Verganza

Nicknames: the Giant,

Living Relatives:
None by blood, only his Oath brothers.

Like many youths wondering the streets of Verganza, Reuben was an orphan. The fate of his parents were unknown, possibly victims of warlords, the Tzavo prides, or even the Orionites on the far side of the sea of sand.
Reuben was unusually large for a lynx, resulting in him being teased a lot while growing up for his abnormal size, and slow mannerisms. Only one came to his defense when he was being ganged up upon, another orphan named Levi Ben Tannin. Levi became close friends with Reuben, and eventually broke down the hostility between him and the other children of Verganza. It was around this time that he and 6 other children were abducted by the fierce and murderous clan called the Orionite Cult. The youngest of the group of boys that were taken, at just age 8, he still tried to defend his friends whenever the Orionite 'trainers' tortured them, not at all caring about his own safety. His bold actions were returned with cruelty, as the trainer in a fit of rage, battered the young giant several times in the skull.
Preferring a live bruised student to a dead one, the leaders of the cult gave him over to professional surgeons to help heal his wounds.
While they did heal him physically, they couldn't heal him mentally. He still tried to protect his friends however, this time with a more beastly rage than before.
Filled with the warrior resolve of Verganzans, the 7 boys did break free of their captors, and return to their home of Verganza.
Under the new oath they formed after their plight, Reuben took pleasure in being the brute force of the team, his monumental strength a key advantage when facing many opponents.
Levi became his 'keeper' so to speak, as well as his close confidant.
Due to his head injuries, he always wears a helmet to keep his head from being hurt again.



The name Anakim comes from a Biblical race of giants, that are believed by some theologians to be the ancestral race of Goliath's family in the story of David.
