Jacob: Damien's friend since primary school. A chill sort of guy who's more than content with kicking back and enjoying a nice brew. By day, he delivers for the Library Cafe. By night, he enjoys racing with his souped-up delivery bike. He's also one of the few others who understands Al's situation and often helps him with Sera when she gets too interested. He has a crush of sorts on her, however.
Al: Looks younger than he is. Works at the Library Cafe with Damien where they met and he found Damien to be alright so they eventually became friends. Older than Damien by a few years. Fairly aloof and seems not to care about much, but he's not a bad guy deep down. Very competent fighter, on par with Ari who doesn't know he's the mysterious challenger.
Sera: An eccentric classmate who adores young kids and cute stuff. She's part of the D&T club and has a knack for being able to jury-rig damn near anything she wants much to everyone else's chagrin. Ever since she found out about the triplets, she's been trying to get them from Damien which isn't making life any easier for him. That said, she doesn't mean any harm and is perfectly fine with just being around them.
Ari: Head of the Swordplay Society in NAU. She's a serious, dour lady around the rest of her class but she's much more friendly with her sister, Mika. She isn't a big fan of Damien, especially after he gets the triplets since she finds them noisy and disruptive while she's apprehensive about Damien making advances on her sister. Being the same age as Al, they naturally butt heads fairly often. Her moniker in the arena is Red Snow.
Mika: A quiet and soft-spoken, yet assertive and blunt girl who also knew Damien since primary school. Damien's love for her is an open secret, though she also finds him pretty attractive in return though she hides it better than him given her upbringing as a Priestess. She finds the triplets' antics adorable and is fairly close to Sera given their mutual love for cuteness.
