The Ipotane would definitely do best with a spear fighting a zebrataur. The reach of the spear would serve him well since the best tactic for the zebrataur would be to keep moving to use his speed to engage and to disengage into combat to his advantage. The only problem is he is holding the spear all wrong.

Most likely the zebrataur will win such a battle since he would have the advantage of the speed to have all of the advantages. He can pick and chose when its to his advantage when its to attack and to retreat. His biggest disadvantage is his lack of armor protection over most of his body.
