So while listening to “Where Did You Go?” by Fort Minor, I had the idea of a most saddening yet interesting scenario between Seraphim and Chao.
What if Chao finally decided to settle down with Cole as husband and wife and one day, Chao wanted to talk to Seraphim, but he’s nowhere to be found at his mansion? No trace left of his presence, or even a tiny clue to that he existed. What if Seraphim finally just got fed up trying to win Chao’s heart and decided to leave her life forever and never to return so he would never be bothersome to her again.

Imagine she walks into his empty and dreary mansion, no grand beauty like there use to be when she walked into the doors. No servants greeting her, no shocking embrace from Seraphim from behind when she entered the front door, nothing. Nothing but cobwebs and dust occupied the giant house. Looking everywhere, there is no note or even the tiniest clue saying what happened to him and where he disappeared to. Truthfully, I’m pretty sure Chao would break down in tears, missing him dreadfully and would stand out by one of the trees of where his lush garden use to be, but nothing remains now except a few lonely trees and an open field of grass that goes on forever.
Yes, I know I screwed up a part of the lyrics when sketching this out so please don’t point this out ^^; I feel bad as is for that goof. I love the loneliness of the background. Just one tree and an open field of grass and then just he under that tree, crying. I love her pose and body language in general. Truly regretful and depressed.
