In the fantasy world which one of my Faurin incarnations live, he was attacked by a witch in his youth whom infected him with a virus called "The corruption".
There are elixirs that hault its process. However they will never cure the victim.
If you don't keep drinking these elixirs to keep it at bay, it'll take over your body, turn everything on you vantablack save for your eyes and teeth - which turn pure white. You become uncontrollably evil and violent, doing anything just to cause chaos.
He and his friend, Faolin, tried to cheat their way out of it by performing a forbidden cleansing ritual which makes the victim bleed the virus out, but due to its sentient-like nature, it wasn't having any of that.

Had a little train of thought here, mostly inspired by the way you draw posture and faces I hope you indeed find more patience in the future since I know that problem myself "sadly" (or not) xD
Ever heard the tale of the two wolves? The other day I had a hunch and found the story told in a way that you can`t really ditch either because, the one you foster prospers, but neither will die. Took my heart. Also, I like getting inspired by the visceral strength like the one of this virus here, as it was described, but with an effort to take and then cultivate that strength, pretty profound stuff

8:37 - 9:37. Can`t really put the finger on it yet)
To keep it canon here, an anti-virus? In the literal sense. A second virus that rebuilds the body, unfaltering counter-balance if you will, instead of negation ("healing"); "A load to carry" if you will, instead of mere "fate".
(I dig tropes so hard? xD)
I don`t mean to meddle into your realm oh no I don`t! But the philosopher inside me wondered whether that notion might be any good for Faurin here?
