EDIT (12-23-2015) I'm sure most of you know by now that Bayonetta was the winner of the Smash Ballot. She may not be Krystal, but she looks awesome nonetheless! I'm looking forward to using her. Also, I'm glad that we did get another female on the roster, and Corrin can be female too.
This took a little longer than expected. Hope it's not too late! ^^ I had some fun giving her a new outfit that incorporated some of the lines from her Assault suit.
For those who don't know, Nintendo recently announced a Lucas as the second DLC character for Super Smash Bros. And immediately after that announcement, they showed us the Smash Ballot! The Smash Ballot allows you to pick ANY video game character and tell Nintendo and Sakurai's team why they should be created as DLC for the game. Here's a link to the Smash Ballot itself.

With a new game on the horizon, it's time for the Star Fox team to get a new member in Smash Bros! So for all you fans of the blue vixen, now is your chance to get her into the game as something more than just a trophy! If you do vote for her, I'd say focus on her unusual weapon, telepathy, and that Smash could always use another female character, especially another that is not a human. She also could be the first female with a ground quake style attack too!
As for the rest of you voting...I'm just excited to see that fans around the world have a chance to directly tell the developers who we want. It's a very exciting time to be a Smash Bros fan. So get out there and do your duty! Vote for your favorite character to get in!

That's what I'm hoping too! At times like this, I wish FA had the group/collection thing that DA had. I put this in a couple of those and it exploded.

I Voted for Krystal immediately when the poll went up, and most of my reason why explained how the staff combat from Adventures would make an interesting addition to the gameplay, and since the staff really belonged to Krystal all along, seeing the true "master" at work with it would be great ... especially if that meant Starfox got a representative that was not another clone. ... plus, even though the new games actually have a lot of ladies now, more are always good.
Its a shame she still being left out...and even more of a shame she will not be appearing in Star Fox Zero. It sad they feel they basically need to reboot the story, I do hope that means Krystal will not be left out.
I mean I've got nothing against Bayonetta, as I support giving love to other series and letting Nintendo Fans and Gamers know about them. Its how Fire Emblem took off with Roy and Marth. I just wish they give us Krystal instead of another Fire Emblem character. God I LOVE Fire Emblem, but it already had another love as it was.

Yeah, it is a definite shame. Same with how they teased at Fox and Krystal's relationship in the series. For being romantically involved, they never appeared to be happy. I would've loved to have seen at least one scene of them holding hands or something. And from what I know, Zero is basically a retelling of SF64, which is a retelling of the original game on the SNES. BUT! I heard something good. Rumor has it the director for Zero does like Krystal, and would like to put her in the next game should Zero sell well enough to warrant a sequel.

Yeah, if they are going to reboot it at the VERY least it gets my hopes up that Krystal will be handled much much, and given more of a character. Which is the issue why some just see her as a sexual symbol, as her character was not really explored in the game.
Personally, I would not mind a Dinosaur Plant built around both Fox and Krystal. Get to see Krystal take part, getting to know her character...watch her and Fox interact and give a reason for them to grow a relationship.
I mean I'm really happy Ike remained as he my main...but 6 is why to many and it should be cut back the next game. I just afraid Ike would get the cut if that is the case...but 6 damn, that is allot for one game series.

I hope for that too. Or at the very least, she gets involved in the conversations with the other characters. It seemed like she only ever talked to Fox and ignored the others. It is a team after all.
