Had that happen to me before...
My cat Smokey cleaned out two bowls of cat food like clock work then acted like she was full and wasn't hungry...
I went to make me a sandwich and as soon as I was putting everything up I turned to look and there was Smokey face down munching out on my lunch...

I woke up this morning to find a lid from an empty container of chicken-gravy that I had left out was on the floor and chewed-to-hell. Luckily it was a cheap, disposable container anyway, and the cat didn't eat the plastic, so no harm done. Of course, my cat was just looking at me like, "Well, what were you expecting would happen when you left that out?"
