Getting back to some traditional art. uwu

The Ditto gal and the Deoxys started out as pencil sketches for an idea I had brainstormed with a friend on DA. Then I got some markers earlier this week and decided to color them. I definitely think the marker helps a lot with bringing out the color in a piece. I mixed it with some colored pencil, to keep some lighter tones in. And then tonight I had an urge to draw Samurott. So that was some more good practice. uwu

Still, got reminded why I'm mostly digital. Just a small set of markers cost $30 ... the other set they had of 40 or 50'ish was something along the lines of $250. ;w;

I want to up my traditional art, but also gotta keep up with my other things in general. uwu Gonna have to start in on more backgrounds again.
