I and so sympathize!
I make it a point NOT to use sanitary sewers to travel around in the city, and instead use the storm gutters, but even those can have you smelling rank after a bit.
Eve looks quite charming here, despite the hangups with burs, twigs and leaves.

Lol, seems like us mice have to always go through some icky stuff since we're so small.
