8 biiit. I tried anyway. Probably goes waaay over the capabilities of an 8bit sound processor thingy, the polyphony definitely. I likey anyway. If only I could get my lazy ass to finish a damn song once in a while.

thats a nice program but it doesnt seem to have a gui O_o
the polyphony is rather nice though,
if your interested i too have made an 8-bit (so to speak) Vst
its here if you want to give it a whirl :) (shameless plug)
its monophonic (there is no way to acheve polyphony the way i built it)
but there are 3 voices (separate midi channels) and a simple drum kit too
See: Goomba

with midi
think of each channel being a seperate instrument.
i use VSThost Jazz32 and Hubi's LoopBack device
to me MIDI is MUCH more straight foward then the sequencer
in FL studio
midi has 16 channels to choose from with 127 notes per channel
channel 10 is almost always reserved for drums.
FL Studio i admit is awesome for setting up drum beats
but i cant stand the note by note keyboard dropdown thing they use
for sequencing notes.
i found that while the software is great for some things its also confusing
as i never did figure out how to set different channels with the darn thing
to top it off the software i listed above is all free.
but thats just my opinion.
but its really simple once you get the hang of it, ^_^
all i have really used from FL is the drum samples. and the Sytrus softsynth.
but im not saying you have to do or learn any of this stuff... :/
at any rate this still sounds great and your obviously talented
(especially after seeing the lack of interface on "magical8-bitplug")

Thank you muchly, hehe. Free is awesome, I'll get to trying somma this stuff out sometime.
And yesh, Sytrus is teh sex... yay presets X3 Does ya know of the piano roll? when ya right clicky a synth in the sequencer? Helluva lot better than that dropdown thinger... I dont even know why they kept that, heheh.
I would love to learn this midi stuff, butbut... I has the dumb >< The limited knowledge I have is 'cause I've messed with FL for yeeears, someone else with that kinda experience would be a master of the thing by now. >.>

this is where you can get a copy of jazz to check out if your game
the original website has long gone under, but i found a copy here:
http://www.midimart.net/download/ja.....nt40-4.0.0.zip
and if you can figure out frootyloops this will be a walk in the park ^_^
they are working on a new version of this program called Jazz++ from the original code which they are building from the ground up,
but this old version is fully functional.
Hubi's Loopback devise re-routed midi signals IN your computer between ports and programs, it can be had here:
http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/program.....opBack_device/
once you have these 2 programs installed you could even control fruity loops with jazz.
O3O I haz teh dumb too sometimes. (noms on keyboard while drooling)
