I decided to see if I could make my sketches more interesting to look at with some simple flourishes. This is what I ended up with. No name for this character yet.
I would actually like some feedback on this. Does this actually look good, or should I just stick with posting raw sketches instead? Or should I even just stick to posting finished art for the most part?

She's actually designed for an as-of-yet unannounced setting. The fact that it couldn't be distinguished on sight might mean that should work on distinguishing the designs a little bit. Could be the result of SCDA's insanely wide scope too though.
I'll keep the leg thing in mind if I draw any other characters striking similar poses.

Alright then, if the effect mostly worked, I might do a bit more of this for sketches I'm posting to the main gallery.
As for the clashing colors, I hope that's something I'll be able to work out in time. I was trying to go for kind of a striking effect, but it would seem that I still have some work to do in figuring out how to make contrasting colors work together.
