Shiva is definitely the wild child of the spotted hyena siblings. She is clearly physically different from her twin, Shira, but she is even more so personality wise.
Shiva is also an anatomically correct female spotted hyena. In adult pictures she will have a faux phallus the color of her paw pads/nose and a faux testicular sack the color of her groin with spots.

Yeah, I've gotten better at researching species before creating them. ^w^; I don't believe I've made any major flubs, but I know I've come across facts related to the species of a character I didn't know about that could change the design slightly or the personality/habits/etc. I decided that research should go before creation lol
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand the comment/question about the tail. ^w^; She has a tail, it's short and kind of bushy like real hyenas. The front view shows that it's there, but the backview doesn't so it doesn't obstruct anything. Sorry for any confusion.

Ah, okay. :3 It can be a confusing concept. I'm often temporarily confused by references where they do that worth the arm. Especially if it's only part of the arm to show a hip tattoo or some detail the arm is blocking when at the character's side. I'm like, "Is the character an amputee or...??"

I like the idea of the female spotted hyena anatomy. They're kind of like real futas and I think they deserve more love. I see quite a few almost anatomically correct hyenas, but they usually still have female bits behind the phallus or the like. I wanted to be as close as possible nature-wise with my hyenas in particular. :)
