This is the patch that I wore during my tenure with the 430th 'Charlie Branch' of the 474th Tactical Fighter Wing. Late 1970's, Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada.

We flew the F-4D Phantom II fighter built by McDonnell Douglas. A very interesting patch for a very interesting squadron.

BTW, my last name has ten letters. Guess the first 9!
