This is a short riff i had stuck in my head for ages and just figured out,
im thinking it came off the wall by pink floyd, but i cant rember
the first time i heard it was on my dads old collection of cassettes.
i have tried to play it as best as i could but my sausage fingers suck at stuff like this
anybody know what this came from?
=EDIT=
thanks to NCC-1941 for pointing this out.
its "Is There Anybody Out There" by Pink Floyd off the album "The Wall"
i knew it was from the wall but had forgot what track it was.

this "version" is all i could rember and it had a bit of artistic license to it,
so i dont think youll find it anywhere else.
the chords are pretty simple so it wanst too hard to figure the most of it out. its VERY similar to the house of the rising sun as far as chords are concerned. but instead of strumming the chords you pick up and down alternating strings.
my claws need trimmed so when i played it i had some trouble keeping the strings from buzzing against them ^_^ but thanks again. i just fixed the title and thumbnail with a little credit to you :) tis the least i could do.

Hey, no problem. When you reminded me of the tune (which I had also been trying to place for quite some time), I wanted to find it as much as you. If you hadn't narrowed it down to Pink Floyd, though, I may never have found it.
Come to think of it, perhaps I shoud be thanking you.

isn't it funny how things like that work out?
its like a cosmic event,
i might have to play name that tune more often
my dad has this ANCIENT tape he recorded off the radio in the mid 70's when he was little. and it has collage radio and experimental stuff on it. and there is this song that goes something like
"I believe in apples, i believe in apples, no peaches or pears i love them anywhere"
and its got this really simple drum beat and 2 chord keyboard riff that sounds like it was made on a cheap casio or something (yeah i know a bit early for that)
what he has is just a 30 second snippet that is between 2 different recording sessions
and it may be the only copy of this song, but i REALLY want to know where it came from.
i know one of Pink Floyds early songs with Syd Barret had to do with apples and oranges, but this is a different song
