I don't think it's that over animated.... The only thing I could say about it that is is the lower hind leg. Other subtle movements make him look more like he's breathing heavily, which I think works for this

I fear it would take me days to do something even that short.

This one only took me about... four or five hours. It helped that it's all repetitive motion.

if you do it all in flash it's very simple to do, I'll be making one later, and will have it done by the end of the week. Though I'm making fake e-cards, which are a bit different animation.

Do try it though, animation and flash are awesome and fun to do.

This artist looks like they animated every line, I'm curious how they had it all in their library. I'm counting multiple motion clips and maybe some bitmap (shape) animation?

All the parts were different Movie Clips. L_Foreleg_1, L_Foreleg_2, L_Foreleg_3, etc. Most of those four-or-five hours were just making all the pieces xD

ya a bit over-animated, but if this is a test of your first attempt I'd like to say you used your tweens well. You may wish to let some have rest (pause) phases and extend the overall length of your animation to make it feel more realistic in motions.

But otherwise ya, you did a good job tweening. :D

At least you have Flash. I don’t have any money to pay for the official Flash Pro from Adobe, and I don’t know of a free GNU alternative.

Yeah, I lucked out in that someone I know managed to get a copy. And that half the computers up here at college have it loaded onto 'em xD

Luckily, I do have The GIMP.
Everyone knows it’s free and just as powerful as Photoshop, which costs over $600! O_O
I wish someone could make a GNU Flash maker that is to Flash Pro like The GIMP is to Photoshop. U_U

Yup, that'd be pretty handy. Or maybe Aftereffects, that's a pretty good animation tool too.

Considering she gets pretty big in not a lot of time, it wouldn't be too far off for a Doom animation. Though I have a feeling you'd stick to normal pregnancy...well, normal for someone carrying a quarter her weight in cubs ^^;
