I help out at a local pet shop to clean the cat cages, and the best part is getting to play with them. Though it can be pretty rough when they decide to use your lap as their own personal bed. When that happens I just can't rid of them. I do feel a little bad when I have to deal with some that nasty and try and claw me, but I know they're just scared.

Yeah, I know what you mean big bro. x'D Same happened whenever I visited my mum and the cats there lie upon my lap. xD lol They're so cute when they sleep, though they can get so warm. xD lol
And yeah, I know how you feel about the nasty too. They can be scared though they also could just not have a good day. <=(

There was this one cat who would try and claw me if I ever tried to pick up so I pretty much kept my distance, but then one day he really took me by surprise when I was trying to reach under the cage for this one cat and I felt something pressing against my shoulder and looked over to see him standing on my side with his nose several inches from my face. I swear all I could do was just lay there praying that he didn't side to use my face as a scratching post. Though after that we were the best of friends.
Like I said I have another vacation coming up soon next week. I'll still have to go to my morning job, but I'll be home the rest of the day so I'll see about signing up for Skype. And I can send a note any time.

Looks like he was no longer afraid of you and was perhaps kind of curious of what you were doing. And in that moment grew quite fond of you as well. ^^ cats are so cute, but as also so headstrong sometimes. x3 lol I bet all cats eventually picks up the wonderful personality and great heart that you own and becomes your friend eventually. 83

Yeah, headstrong is something I would say is very common in cats. There's this one cat who is super scared of me and always tries to claw me out of fear, but lately she's been more open to me whenever I come to clean out her change. What I mainly do is take out her water bowl and normally I is take out her bowl of water and litter box, normally she rush off to the corner and eye me, but now she's letting me rub her back and scratch her head along the ear. I just love it when they purr.
