Okay, okay, I know this isn't a commission for someone, and I should have been working on those, BUT, in my defense, I couldn't. See, I had a friend come over (FINALLY some fucking social life activity), and he's an artist too, so we spent the night drawing stuff, to pass the time (since we were going out the next day) and I can't really be drawing porn commissions with my friend, who's not a fur, sitting right beside me can I? xD
Anyway, I asked him for a suggestion of what to draw, and he said hyena, so when I looked it up I found a picture of a striped hyena there, and I had -no- idea those even existed. They have these massive huge manes that I just instantly fell in love with and wanted to draw.
So I did 83
I like this picture. The fur took ages, but I think it came out pretty nice... not perfect, by any means, but decent. The eye is fucked up, but whatever, haha.
Anyway, I'll get back to work on commissions tomorrow, after I have a niiice long night's sleep. I'm tired, too much activity lately. For now, enjoy :3

haha, see, i knew Ru had /some/ social interaction outside of the interwebs. i must agree the mane is cool, reminds me of you ru. :> i wonder if i've seen these hyena before and just didnt know they were any different. cuase i recall seeing hyenas with a rather large scruff...or mane.

Yeah. See, I just learned to drive, and on top of that a friend of mine is moving away, and he -can't- drive, so he's having a whole bunch of fun whenever he can before he goes, and I get to go along since I can drive him places xD So for another month or so I should have a bit of a social life, but that'll die off soon enough.

And there's quite a noticable difference between hyenas and striped hyenas, striped ones are white in colour with zebra like stripes. Normal ones are brown all over. x3

really? you seem a few years older than a new driver would be. though that's cool that you get to go out and have fun and have a car with which to get you places. i have a car, but my parents still own it even though i pay insurance on it. but they still barely let me use it. and yes i am still stuck with my parents, hopefully that changes within a year.
yeah, fluffy manes are awesome, though you are already rather fluffed up, dont think the mane would much a difference though, so i say go for it, let the mane grow :P

If it makes you feel any better about being tired, I get up at 5am every morning for 8am classes (first one is 2 hr French lecture), get home by noon, work at 5:30-10, do homework until 12-1 go to bed with 4 or 5 hours of sleep. Yesterday I had less since i was doing an english paper til 2am.
