Lame title I know.

Anyways........my god....my scanner totally MURDERED this. I was so proud when I finished this...it turned out so much better than I anticipated...and then...it met my scanner......~sighs heavily~. I'm sorry for the croppy and shoddy looking lines around the background...again thank my scanner for that. This looks 1000 times better on the original, no exasgeration...seriously.

Anyways, enough of that. About the pic itself. This is my contest entry for Ardengrail's contest over at DA. We were to create our own of her Pangeo Dragon species. I thought it would be fun and decided to try ^^! This species was wonderful to try and create and by her allowing us to use our full imagination for the colors and stuff was much fun!

This is my female Pangeo. Her name is Maysa (which means 'walking with pride' in Arabic). She is indeed a proud girl XD! Anyways, I am quite happy with the overall look and colors. I took the splotches on the wings from a pic of a Kite (a type of bird or prey, not the other kind o.o) I found on Google. I wasn't that happy with the wings in the beginning, especially since they were supposed to be more swan like....aaaaand instead I realised after I had already inked them that they looked more like eagle wings...sorta >.<! So, sorry about that Arden! I hope it's ok . The blue on the chest was kinda...an accident, so to balance that I added it in the mane and tail ! So, I hope it looks alright despite the mistakes and the super crappy scan >.<!

And PLEASE pay no attention to the cratacular tree! OMG! I can't freaking draw them for the life of me! It looks SO bad! And the fact that is disappears into nothingness....don't know what happened there o_o. I threw in the shading...took like 7 mins XD! And it actually didn't turn out too badly O_o. So yes....ignore the tree!
