Wow... It's a fucking stupid world we live in

I got the whole "Oh...you don't speak spanish?" thing too out here when I was trying to break out of management and the veterinary field...I had a lot of interviews but it always boiled down to "Oh no spanish..." worst thing is they assumed pretty much that I spoke spanish since I have a spanish/mexican first and last name (married a hispanic) and it was like...I'd show up to the interview, this tall white New England girl and the interviewer was like "Oh ok..." LOL

That sucks though, seriously. And especially out here in Tucson where it is so hard to find a job normally and now it is even worse with the economy. I had a hard time myself even with a college degree 3 years back now, took me 4 months really to find a job and I ended up just going back to vet technician work but it was the best move of my life honestly.

Wolff, we both have the pretty much the exact same problem. Cause all three of us live in Tuscon. :/

here were having a job boom, so easy jobs, high pay, but more crime :/
