Back story: When Ulysses was 15, he wanted to create a biological war machine due to watching his mother help with it all the time. He wanted to help with the cause, maybe get rewarded for it all. One night, he walked into the lab without anyone knowing, passing security and entering codes just to get in. He created a creature with the DNA from a kangaroo, shark, and rabbit for speed, strength, the ability to jump high, with razor sharp teeth that could kill someone in one bite. However, he tweaked the DNA a bit to give him large claws to rip anything he wants to shreds, and giving him the brain power of a human with the ability to talk, learn, and grow quickly. Though when he was born out of the very machine he was created in.. he was very small and weak, not to mention a bit cute. Ulysses, knowing that the military would kill him for being weak and not wasting their time teaching him, decided to take him in. He named him Axel, teaching him almost all he knows, watching him grow quickly and helping him with his abilities. They have more of a best friend relationship than a creator/son one. Axel refers to him as either Ulysses, or since after the accident, Greenie, in which he gets annoyed about but the others follow along.
Bio: He happens to be very sarcastic, yet smart. His downfall is that he takes many things to heart, but being strong through it all. Unlike Ulysses, when tragedy strikes, he doesn't pretend every thing will be okay. He does what he can to make sure everyone is safe and happy, a bit like a leader. Axel can be serious at many times, yet also very goofy with his creator. Ulysses respects him as an equal and a best friend, despite being his creator. He is also seemingly indestructible, but scared of zombies and mutants despite the fact that when they bite and hurt him, he remains to be okay. He stopped growing completely when he was 5, seeming to not age more than to a human, about 25 or so. However he learns a lot. He can not die unless something happens to his physical body as he does not age anymore.
